  • Let’s kick off Wellness Week with calm minds and big goals!
We’ll start the day with a 1–2 minute guided meditation in homeroom to set a peaceful, focused tone for the week.

💥 Plus — the Screen-Free Challenge begins! Students will have received a pledge form on Friday. The mission?
🚫 No TV, video games, tablets, or unnecessary screen time
Yes to family fun, active play, and creativity!

📋 Return your signed pledge during Wellness Week and get entered into our daily prize raffles — win awesome stuff like:
🎁 Reusable water bottles, 🪢 jump ropes, 🚲 bike helmets & more!
We’ll proudly hang all signed pledges on a cafeteria banner to celebrate everyone’s commitment! 🎉

  • Get ready for a taste adventure!
Today, Eliot staff will be handing out delicious samples of unique fruits & veggies you may not have tried before:
    🥢 Edamame • 🌱 Sugar Snap Peas • 🐉 Dragon Fruit • 💜 Passion Fruit

Who knows — you might find a new favorite snack!

  • It’s back and better than ever!
Lace up those sneakers or hop on your wheels and join us for iWalk & Bike to School Day!
🏃 Walk, 🚴 bike, or 🛴 roll to one of our meeting spots to join up with friends and cruise into school together.

💦 Don’t forget: hydration = health — drink that water like a wellness warrior! 💙

  • Veggie power is in full force today!
🥕 Pack your veggies or grab them from the lunch line — we’ll have student volunteers on photo patrol looking for students chowing down on greens!

🍓 Smoothies will also be served in the cafeteria!
📷 Pics of our veggie champs will be posted on Friday’s shoutouts or on a bulletin board so everyone can see who’s rocking the rainbow on their plate! 🌈

  • Let’s wrap up the week with movement and celebration!
We’ll be inviting parent volunteers to lead exciting recess activity stations all week:
    ⚽ Soccer • 🥋 Martial Arts • 🏀 Basketball • 🏈 Flag Football • and more!

💡 Parents — have a skill or a few spare minutes? We’d love your help making recess even more awesome!

✨ On Friday, students will be encouraged to revisit their favorite activity from the week and keep the fun going!
